Vedas have been acclaimed and accepted as a reservoir of profound knowledge. The department of Veda undertakes the teaching of Shukla Yajurveda. The subject of Shukla Yajurveda was introduced in the year 2013-14. This traditional discipline is attracting brilliant students who dedicate themselves to the study of the most honoured Indian knowledge system. Faculty members have published research articles in reputed research journals and regularly attend the conferences of the field concerned. The faculty members help other departments in providing training to students in chanting hymns and performing Yajna.
